IKO roofing CRC roofing IKO 130 MPH roofing warranty a ripoff Kankakee, Illinois

I purchased and Installed IKO roofing in 2007 because of the color, texture, and most of all the expressed performance claim that it had a 130 MPH wind resistance. After just three years on the roof we had 69 mph winds during a storm. Three squares ripped off the roof and the rest of the shingles had come unglued. As the roofer said during the emergency repairs " the whole roof will need to be manually glued down".

I did exactly as the warranty required in sending photos and roofing to IKO. I spent nearly $4,000. in repairs for the glue down of the roof. IKO did not admit to anything. They refused to show me the lab report of the faulty roof shingles. Instead they offered me $1,267.30  if I signed a agreement to release them from further liability.

Here is the issue I have with IKO. They continue today to make and sell this same roof material with the same amount of glue knowing it will never perform as advertised and warranted. IKO  play the odds and bets that joe consumer will not pay an attorney to sue them for diliberit misrepresentation and fraud. Stay away from IKO roofing its a ripoff scumbag manufacture.
