i've seen my share of bad management but ilya shapiro takes the c a k e. avoid this guy.

when ilya shapiro of atuned.net aka atuned public relations and music management aka a-tuned public relations and music management approached a prior client of mine and failed to follow up with agreements i knew this was a classic case of either of these: 1. a guy who doesn't know what he's doing 2. a guy who knows exactly what he's doing by hiding information from his clients or 3. a guy who can afford to just take bands and drop them as he pleases, because he doesn't invest any money into them.

he will pick up artists and drop them once they become less interesting to him. he has yet to sign a major artist. he has yet to even open a brick and mortar to show that he has a legal business. he doesn't have the paperwork to show that he does.

he will never show paperwork for license agreements or club agreements or ticket agreements or bar tab agreements or any agreements related to talent.

he will not invest in his talent. i know with proof of groups who have invested their hard earned money in themselves without any financial assistance from ilya shapiro. it's sad to see someone ride on the coat tails of other bands' investments and successes. 

ilya wastes talents' time by promising to do something and just never doing it. that isn't just a bad partner ..... that's a bad, sad person.

ilya doesn't have a quarter of the connections he says he has and when you want him to prove any of it he won't. 

don't work with him or else you're wasting your time and money. 

ADVICE TO ARTISTS: FIND OTHER WORKING, TOURING ARTISTS AND SEE WHO THEY ARE WORKING WITH. THEN CONTACT THOSE PEOPLE. THEY HAVE HISTORY TO BACK THEM UP. i can help you with that : )
