Image Salon and Day Spa This Place is Lacking of Customer Service ,

Hi to those of you who care. I recently went to a local salon to get a wet cut and dry. My daughter and son were also cut. I was the last to go. The kids (all four of them) were being rambuctious and as much as I love them, annoying. When you first arrived, ten minutes early, the male stylist said he was ready to go home. This was not directed towards me specifically. But isnt It poor customer service to voice that in front of the last customers of the day?

When I got my turn in the seat the girl styling my hair said the kids started climbing on stuff, you could tell they were on her nerves. So I told them to stop before they got hurt. A few minutes into my cut she says, "Guess what you have?" I replied, "No." She said yes. I then said, "Great if I have it all of them must have it too." She then said no that they didn't have anything. At this point she has her co-worker come and look to. Then they both claimed I had head lice. She said she would finish the layer so I wasnt lop sided and didn't dry my hair. At this point I understood the importance of her not finishing my cut or drying my hair.

So I paid my $26.00 and left a $10.00 tip and left completely surprised and horrified. When I left I called my mom and asked her to come look at my hair to see if I had lice because me head hadn't been itching and I wanted her to treat my hair for me.

Mom came to my home and thouroughly checked my head for 45 minutes. Never finding anything. When my fiance got home he too checked me again nothing. Being as we have 4 children all of whom go to school of some sort, I decided to go and treat my hair and house just to be safe. 

After leaving Wal-Mart I decided to go by my sisters and she and my cousin checked my head again. Still nothing. I went on home and treated my hair while combing it out with the special comb, still nothing. At this point I am pretty confident in the fact that I don't have head lice.

So today, (the day after) I  call and ask to speak with the owner, I had already tried to remedy this mistake with the stylist but she was not budging. I have now decided that they were just trying to usher me out, because they were ready to leave for the day.  The owner was un-willing to refund me the rest of my gift-certificate or even accept responsibility for the stylist. She says she has nothing to do with it she just rents the spaces to them and only owns the building. I also asked her how much a cut cost and she said $10.00 for a cut and $4.00 for a dry. 10+10=20 not 24 and the girl charged me for a dry that I did not receive. When I brought this up owner said in her most pretentious voice, "It's $4.00 I am sure she won't mind giving it back to you." I told her that if was only $4.00 then why did her employee steal it from me? Her response, " Well sometimes they change their rates"

At some point the other stylist calls my fiance and says for me to come in and the stylist who did my hair would fix it. I am like no I want my money back and to not have the girl whose mistake emabarrased the crap out of me cut my hair. The owner's final response to me was, "This is about you having head lice and being emabarrased about it. I told her that it was about poor customer service policies.

I give them a thumbs down I have enjoyed goin to this business as well as my friends for a few years now. But now none of us will go back.
