We spent 2 years to launch a high end luxury magazine and contracted Imaging Bureau for our first print job for the magazine.

After paying over $10,000 for our order, the magazines were then shipped from Texas to Florida (that we paid for) only to receive an order that turned out to be a horrible print job.

Our story: We sent out 100 magazines to our advertisers. We then assembled meetings and began to tie in our marketing and sales together, the following week we were supposed to begin our sales and circulations. 1 week later as we begin to circulate - the circulation director notices large INK BLOTCHES on pages. WHITE CREASES on advertisers pages, CRINKLED PAGES within magazines, just completely NON PRESENTABLE magazines.

After going through some cartons we found out that nearly 4 out 5 magazines were not presentable.

2,460 magazines were complete garbage.
1,886 were embarrassing to circulate
The remainder were good quality.
87% were bad. BAD. BAD.

Our audit took nearly 10 days to count all the magazines in our shipment. At a time when we were supposed to be having a great launch, and that was critical for us to make sales, we ended up trying to understand how bad the situation really was which lead us to do a RECALL of the magazines. We endured over $32,0000 in damages.

I made a VLOG and delivered it to the CEO, Brian Walden and after he watched it - he stated "Normally, whether right or wrong, I am willing to work with any unhappy customer. Under the circumstances of your messages, I am not willing to help you in any fashion. I suggest you review the "terms and conditions" of your quote/contract. They are documented and sent to you with quote and they are documented and sent to you before we start the job, stating ".... if you dont fully understand.....".

He went on to say "If you would like any of this documentation, I will send to you. Many of your accusations are untrue....as we are fully documented also.

Furthermore....I will suggest that you use extreme caution when attempting slanderous actions with a reputable multi-million dollar printing company"

I wrote him back and told him that I never lied about anything, nor did I do anything malicious that could invoke SLANDER and told him to keep his threats to himself. That we spent 2 years to get this project off the ground. That we need immediate resolve. That having over 87% of the magazines not being representable was NOT stated in his terms or conditions.

I want EVERY SINGLE PERSON who pulls this review to LEARN FROM US and use this story as a case study to make certain you get what you paid for - REGARDLESS, if you tell the CEO you don't care about his power trips and egos, that at the end of the day, the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Too bad for the Imaging Bureau's CEO to think that he's MY boss...and have too much hubris to make the right choice. The truth will always prevail and after spending over $10,000 and getting a product that was soiled, our company's dignity was defiled. None of the people in the Imaging Bureau ever picked up the phone to help or to follow up with us to see how we were doing. Keeping their distance was their Modus Operandi to stay far away from us, and our problem because of its magnitude...

See our vlog on www.BrightCove.tv - search term: Image Bureau (not imaging bureau). You'll see the print job we received. You'll see the nightmare, and I apolgize for my attire. Vlogs were filmed at roughly 2:00am in the morning - I had to count from 6:00pm to 5:00 am get 4 hours of sleep and go back to the office job and do this again for 10 days straight. If you focus on the story and not my attire, you will see what the Imaging Bureau did to us as a start up.

Oooops...The Cross has finally caught up to injustice!

AUTHOR: Greg Johnson - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 05, 2010

As most, companies can no longer hide behind their own stupidity. This should be a wake up call to anyone that thinks their little issue will never be found out. Those politicians that pathetically represent a constituency like Waters of California no longer have a regional liberal press to hide them from retribution on an international stage.

The internet now holds all of our feet to the fire if you attempt to walk away from your mistakes.

I have seen the growth of the print bureau over the years and was coming here for a job order, been in Arlington for many...many years...

and it does sound like someone needs a reality check...or the bank will be coming here to
realize why their client is in liquidation.

Thanks to the complainer and I hope that more people will start doing so, to protect us all...and fight the government from trying to control this type of free enterprise communication...because they are trying to slowly remove this as an option.

and Walden...old school rules apply...you know that

Imaging Bureau - Assinine Behavior, Disrespect, & Hubris of CEO Brian Walden Not Impressive.

AUTHOR: Mo - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 28, 2007

As a former paying customer for the Imaging Bureau, I find it shocking that the Imaging Bureau CEO, Brian Walden, would have such asinine behavior to call his former customer names.

Mr. Walden's asinine behavior, disrespect, and hubris serve to be the Achilles Heal to his company. Mr. Walden's stats are self proclaimed. Just because no other customers have filed a RIP Off Report doesn't mean they were satisfied. We shall see if more customers will file reports based on our experience.

Million dollar companies can be here today and gone tomorrow. It all depends on how they treat their CUSTOMERS. I know that our incident was not an OUTLIER (isolated case). Now, time will prevail the truth and serve JUSTICE to those who are sincere, innocent and humble vs those who are self-righteouss, non-caring, plastic and narrissistic..

As far as Mr. Walden's attacks are concerned about my professionalism, my intelligence, and the comment about me having no rights to be / due anything in the realm of publishing / printing - I hope YOU, the readers, can evaluate and assess who is being asinine and who is not. Who has the I.Q. of 38 and the I.Q. of 138.

Last I checked, Brian Walden, CEO of Imaging Bureau, was not the Lord to determine what rights I have in the context of business and what rights I do not have in the context of governing, managing or operating a business - publishing, printing or any other sector of business.

In closing, as a former Advertising Executive with the WPP Group* and former Marketing Executive from Porsche Cars North America and someone who has earned 2 business degrees from top business universities I evaluate that I am able to qualify to contend with the high caliber of business acumen Mr. Walden self proclaims he and his business has which he so graciously advertised.

* WPP GROUP is the 2nd Largest Advertising Conglomerate in the world.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Printing companies beware of Mo Montana and City Quarterly media group

AUTHOR: Bureau Boyz - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 28, 2007

I am Brian Walden, the owner of Imaging Bureau Inc. a large commericial printing company located in Fort Worth, texas. There are over 40,000 printers in the U.S. and The Imaging Bureau ranks in the top 1% of all printing companies in the country. We have been in business since 1992 and have an active client base of over 1500 customers, produced over 10,000 jobs, and to date, have never had a complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau. We did not get this successful or large, by ripping off our customers.

Imaging Bureau is a high quality, reputable commericial printing facility and will match mine or my company's reputation against Mo Montana and City Quarterly media group....ANY DAY! In my opinion....Mo Montana is a certified idiot and has no business in the printing/publication industry.

I hope other printing companies read this before doing business with Mo Montana and City Quarterly media group. Please call me first.
