Imperial Benefit took my money in return for junk mail I could have found on the internet myself Champlain New York

Imperial Benefit called my house and offered us a $3000 credit card with a processing fee of $279. The credit card was intended for the use of rebuilding or reestablishing credit. The deal sounded great.

We were told we would receive our "card" within 10 business days. I called on the 12th business day and this person said it takes 25 business days and that the other person was wrong. 25 business days later we received our "package".

When I opened the package, I found that it was junk mail that I could have found on the internet myself. I called Imperial Benefit and asked about my card. They said I needed to apply for one of the credit card ads in the package and I would be approved in 25 days. The person on the phone eventually told me that there was no $3000 credit card and that I was paying for there services of helping find credit card companies.

This was very unexceptable. I demanded my money back immediatly. They said return the package with a letter stating you want your money back and you will receive it in 10 business days.

It has been 11 days and I still have not received my money($279) back. On top of all of this I received my phone bill and their "toll-free" number has cost me over $30 of which they say they are not responsible for.

If this company has contacted you, tell them to call someone else because they are one of the fastest growing scam companies. If you are like me and went for the great deal, please call them and demand your money back and fill out a report with everyone you can. Also, contact your friends and family to let them know about this scam.
