I received a phone call from "Mark", an employee of Imperial Majesty Vacation. He said he was doing a brief survey and asked me a couple of questions. He said that i would be notified within 7 days if i had won a holiday to the value of $2,495.00.

The evening before they called me they had called my parents and gave them the same story but my parents don't have a visa card and they asked if anyone else in the family had one. My father replied that I had a visa card.

I got a call back 5 days later claiming i had won a 10 day trip to Florida, staying in gold key accommodation at one of the Ramada Hotels in Florida for 4 nights and then on to Fort Laurderdale to stay for 6 nights in one of the Ramada Hotels.

Also included in the package was free Alomo car rental, 2 x 2 day passes for Universal studios and 2 x 1 day pass for Walt Disney World Resort. As a bonus i would receive 2 more free adult tickets to do with as I pleased.

After I had taken this first vacation I could then avail of 7 nights in Bali, France or Spain etc for $35.00 per adult. "Jana" then gave me her employee number (292) and ran through some insurance details claiming the holiday was insured through "Status" insurance with an address at Ketteridge in the United Kingdom.

She made some small talk with me and then out of the blue fired the question "What is the name that appears on your credit card including any middle initial?" I replied by giving her my name and then she said "ok we'll just start now by you giving me the first four digits of your credit card" to which I replied "No we will not".

I explained that i would never give my details out over the phone and asked was there any other way we could arrange this. "Jana" said it was to secure my Holiday Package and nobody would be able to access my credit card as this was my "verbal signature". I again said "NO" to which she replied "Well I'm just going to have to give your Holiday Package to someboby else" and she hung up.
