IMC or Cap Net was given $795.00 for a first and last month payment for a lease of equipment. I was working with a sales rep that never answered the phone. I decided not to go through with the loan due to the terms and I was promised my money back in July. I kept calling and calling and in September I was pushed to another sales rep. He did not want to give my money back. He offered me another loan instead of giving me my money short of processing fees. He said they did too much work on it and were only going to give me back $200.00.  He offered just a regular loan. I did not agree to the terms of that loan and he did not want to give any of my money back. I kicked and screamed to no avail. No one ever returned any of my calls. The sales rep was rude and wanted to get into my personal and business affairs when I chose to do a loan elsewhere and got approved. He was rude and would not let me talk. I just want my money back. It should be illegal for the bank to not act in such a way and not be prompt when addressing consumers. Incidentally, the reps never answer the phone, they never return calls, they steal your money when you do not agree to terms. That is how they make money. Their terms are ridiculous so they know you will not agree and take your money. It is best to go to a local bank for loans and not to trust anything you get in the mail. They are scam artists and slick . They just want to take you for a ride and and take your money.

Please research this company. Any bank that sks you for money upfront is FRAUD. They have changed their name so many times to avoid being known for their practices. If you have been cheated email me for a class action lawsuit: shnsj6771@aol.com

#2 UPDATE Employee

This complaint is from a person who tried to fraudulantly fund a transaction through our company and got caught red handed, then threaten to her family was 'crip' gang members who would kill us

Company's Initial Response - Posted 09/29/2009 with the Better Business Bureau. (this is the direct response from the rep working with the client) I was first contacted by Shona Jordan, president of Blaze Transportation Services Inc, in February 2009. She explained how her business was in need of capital to purchase a van from another company, CRJ Investments Inc. I then went on explaining how this would be considered a private party sale and starting asking questions on who exactly was selling the vehicle. I asked Shona if any of her family members owned the company that held the title on the van and she said no. When I further investigated CRJ Investments, I found a secretary of state filing showing Carlton Ray Jordan as the registered agent. When I asked Shona if this was a family member, she explained how it was her brother and he did not own any part of the company selling the van. At this point I began to suspect some type of fraudulent activity with this deal. I then preceded to look up the officers and directors of CRJ Investments and found a president of Otta Weisa McConnell. I asked Shona about this and she explained that person owned the business. Since the owner had a different last name, I still went on with this transaction. The bank was willing to grant Blaze Transportation an approval on this deal only if she had an additional guarantor with high credit. She explained how her father would sign with her. After speaking to her father about signing with his daughter, he explained how he in fact owned CRJ Investments and that Otta Weisa McConnell was his late wife. Shosha had been blatantly lying all along knowing well that she had to in order to get this fraudulant transaction through our system.  This is when the deal started turning south. Once her father understood that the bank needed him to personally guarantee the loan, he backed out and canceled the deal. I explained to Shona that her father actually owns CRJ Investments and that she had been lying this whole time. I later found out that the van was actually for carpet cleaning and was not even going to be used for her trucking company. This tranaction had complete fraudulent activity from the first time I spoke with Shona as she lied about who owned the vehicle and was trying to have a bank pay her father for the van. We see this scam on occasion where one person or company tries to represent they are buying a piece of equipment from a vendor when in fact they are trying to get the bank/financing company (CapNet in this case) to pay them for equipment they own or in this case, nobody owns, take the funds and never pay back the note. This is a clear case of that. When we told them the price of the van was grossly inflated and that another newer one was for sale at half the price, they were not interested in the other one and would only proceed with the one that was inflated in cost that a family member supposedly owned. Clear indication that this is a standard fraudulent transaction. After Eric Schelegal explained to Shona we had discovered the fraud, she became irate. She immediately changed her story and tried to cancel the deal. After a couple weeks of harassing she began calling everyone in the company. I began taking her calls trying to calm her down. I explained the situation again. I tried to solve the problem by structuring a legitimate deal that she could have qualified for. Unfortunately she sent in more 'doctored' documents that indicated further concerns. After this she became abusive. She called my line again and again demanding her money back. I continually tried to explain the situation, but she stopped listening.. It got so bad, I couldnt even talk to her, she just yelled I want my money back and different combinations of profanity at me. After that she began making threats on my health and life, on several different occasions, claiming her cousin would come kill me if she didnt get her money back. Here are a couple actual quotes: My cousin is a crip (gang member) and will come kill you Dont go to sleep he could come by any night People have died for much less, remember that when a bullet is going through your brain. We have all these threats recorded. The harassment continued as she sent a message to my facebook account, linked in account and left several threatening voicemails. We have recorded voicemails of her death threats. She legally executed and signed a document stating that if she provided false or manufactured documentation the deposit shall be deemed as earned. She provided false documentation to try to unjustly get money from us on multiple occasions. Her wrong doings are documented and recorded. Initial Response Summary She legally executed and signed a document stating that if she provided false or manufactured documentation the deposit shall be deemed as earned. She provided false documents. The money kept is a very small amount and under normal occasion, we would have refunded this without question.  However, in this case, where the person repeatidly tried to fraudulantly take money from us by lying, we will not return the money on principle.
