In The Moment Acting Studio could not provide me with basic information regarding the instructors credentials. Female who answered the phone just kept referring me to the website. Ontario California

 I called the phone number listed on website to gain more information regarding the studio for my 10 year old daughter.  The lady who answered the phone explained that they offered services for students interested in film and television.  She gathered my information such as my name and child's name.  Explained that the fee was $75.00 for 6 consecutive weeks and that there were no make-up classes for any reason what so ever.  Payment is by check or cash only. 

Before concluding the phone call I proceeded to ask about the instructor.  She stated that there was only one instructor for the entire studio.  I asked about his credentials and she said I would need to check the website.  I explained to her that I had been on the website and proceeded to ask her exactly where on the website I would find information about the instructor.  She paused, and said, "I'm not sure...you just need to click around."  I responded and said, "You're not familiar with your own website?"  She didn't answer my question and responded with....."It's somewhere on there, he updates the website daily".  I prompted futher and asked her to "walk me through" the website.  She told me that she was not in front of a computer as she was out running "errands" before work.  I then asked her to tell me about the instructor herself.  She stumbled with her words and said, "He's been asking since he was a child...I think".  I responded with, "What major films has he been in?"  She had no response and instead said that maybe we shouldn't come to the studio. 

I find it very odd that this company will only accept cash or credit cards and the phone number listed is a ladies personal cell phone number.  An established company will have a credit card machine on site and have the instructors credentials listed on the website.  How can this studio only have 1 instructor for all the services it claims to offer?  How is he that well versed in all areas?
