Incentiverewardcenter (formerly emarketresearchgroup) is a huge rip-off! I signed up for several offers to receive a Nintendo DS for "free", and I paid for two of the offers I signed up for. Somehow, "magically", the very last company that is supposed to report that I filled out the offer, hasn't gotten back to them yet. That's a load.
I called the company that was supposed to report it and they told me it was reported a while ago. Hmm, smell fishy yet? I've emailed three times now. Twice within 10 days, and no response. The third I did today, so we'll see. If I hear nothing, I plan on doing as much as I can to stop them. Definitely the BBB, and if I can, legal action as well. This supposedly "free" DS isn't worth it!! HUGE scam.

Everything seems to be on track

Just as many people, I too was lured in by the banner advertising a free 40 GB iPod. I signed up for six offers and then waited for them to report "completed". Everything went smoothly until the sixth offer showed that it had been completed from the second page when actually I signed up for it from the third page. So at this point I had three offers from page two and only one offer from page three. I emailed and called I.R.C. about this concern. A few days later, one of their representatives called me on my cell phone and we quickly resolved the problem. He assured me that my free iPod would be sent out in the next "batch". He then sent me an email to confirm what we had discussed. Here is an exact copy of what he sent me:
"Our records indicate that you have qualified for a Apple(r) iPod 40 GB.
We have not received your Gift Redemption Voucher, but we will waive
that voucher.
A Shipping Request has been issued.
Sometimes it can take a few weeks for the fulfillment center to
assemble, package, and ship a gift after the Shipping Request has been sent.
We appreciate your patience. Your gift should arrive soon.
P.S. As we discussed, I will escalate your information to the
fulfillment department and waive the voucher.
Thank you,
Support"
As of right now, everything looks good. However, I still have my doubts and will believe that I.R.C. isn't a scam when I'm listening to my new iPod. I'll update this rebuttal letting you all know if it ever arrives.
