Indoor Air Care Business is not their nature - Big time RIP OFF - Get Estimate 1st!! Bloomsfield New Jersey

First of all I saw an appealing ad in the "The Clipper Magazine", which is distributed in De County, PA.

The special was for duct cleaning at $39.95 for main duct, unlimited vents, and return. To cut it short, my boyfriend called me and told me they were there, and so far the bill is $129.00 and I was upset about that, and then he tells me, to do the whole system it would be $569.00. I was livid. So the tech got on the phone and tried to explain I had (3) three main ducts - which is untrue. I live in a row home, and this house has never had any additions put on.

So I told him to stop, and don't do anymore. I said to him, if you advertised a price of $569.00 nobody would call you. He said that's not true. He said with the economy and all we try and work with our customers. He told me so far the work they had done was $289.00 (so why did they charge $129.00), hmm?

Later when I got home my boyfriend told me he asked the tech for a copy of the $569.00 estimate, and he wouldn't give it to him. Once he did tell him to pack up and leave, after he learned of the price, the tech said to him "I can do it on the side for $250.00 cash". So how can you go from $33.99 to $569.00 - $250.00.

Before they even started the work, they should have been up front and told us how much this would be, not after the amount of $129.00 to $569.00.

Another thing, they have no address, fax number or website. I called the phone number on the work order of 800-932-6109, a girl answered the phone, then she said oh "excuse me - thank you for calling Indoor Air Care"

I think they work mainly out of a basement, and charge whatever they can. Do not use this company - they are a bunch of frauds.
