I was in need of carpet cleaning after my room mate moved out, I went online and found "Indoor Air care", they were advertising $24.99 per room with a two room minimum. I then decided to do my own bedroom as well. I called the company and spoke with one of the managers who, explained that they will come out with top of the line equipment to steam clean my carpet ( steam = 220 degrees) and made the appointment for 1Pm the following day.

Later on this day i get a call from one of the drivers of this company who says that he can only get to my place at 7am the following day... I reluctantly agreed as i had no other option and couldn't find another company for next day service.

Next day comes along, i wake up extra early to be ready for the drivers arrival, 7am comes along and no call... i call them and they tell me that he can only come between 1 and 4 and that they had no idea that he was supposed to be there at 7am.

I ask my mother to wait at the house while i was at work for the driver to come, when he finally arrived at my place he tried to up sell my mother on all sorts of chemical treatments... My carpet is less than a year old and only has a few minor spots here and there nothing major... I asked her to put him on the phone and then i reallized what type of people i was dealing with here...

The first question from his moth was how are you paying for this because i cant do this at the price we told you... I will need at least $100 to do this for you ( double the quoted price) and it will require deep cleaning... I told him that what he was doing is not fair and also let him know that there is only very minor cleaning needed. He then took his stuff and left the house.

I called his boss and was still being told that they want more money to do the job and decided to negotiate to $80 ( very  reluctantly, with my back against the wall) and she was going to send him back at that point. My mother waited for another 2 hrs for him to come back until she finally left. I called the boss lady and she puts me on the line with her husband, this guy was a real piece of work... He said no we don't want to send him back and hung up on me.

I decided to look around and found a company who came right down and did the job the same day and for the original quoted price of $50. I would never recommend this company to anyone i know and will be sure to stay away from any company that treats their customers in this fashion.
STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!
