Infinity Intellectuals fraudulant Newark, Delaware

I purchased a small database for the local area in which we planned to do some marketing.

Infinity Intellectuals (II) contact, Robert, advised he had a list that met our criteria, quoted the quantity and the cost. I asked for a sample, which was duly sent and checked. However, the sample size was only 3, so not a lot to check. So, even though contact details were not correct, at least the organisations existed.

The quoted price was paid. After about a week, no list. )Once the transaction was in progress, correspondence reverted to Sandy, who then became main contact). A little later the list of 845 contacts was sent, however, after de-duplicating shrunk to about 30! A cursory review showed the same company name was numerous times, with different contact names, same website and phone numbers etc. Company names were listed as XYZ pty ltd, XYZ p/l, XYZ P/L, XYZ &co, XYZ Australia etc, clearly all the same company but with slight variations to fill up the database.

This was communicated to Sandy, who admitted they didnt have a list for the area and offered a list from a different area. (I should have realised something was not quite right when the report was titled xxx project, clearly a project to try and create a list from scratch.)

When I advised a different area was of no use to me, and that Id rather have my money back ($500), suddenly there was no more correspondence. I emailed original contact, (Robert), no reply. I wrote a message via their website, no reply. I have emailed both Robert and Sandy, still no reply.

Even after some threatening language in the emails, implying legal action, still no response. Hence this report, to make other potential clients of Infinity Intellectuals aware of the fraudulent activities of this company.
