Infinity Printing cold called our office. Unfortunately our Admin answered it and did not suspect that this company was shady. They asked her what type of printer we used.  She told them and they offered cheap ink and a ridiculously high priced promotional package. She was told that the ink would last a long time and was a big supply.   She sadly said that she was authorized to make decisions on office supplies (even though she is NOT).  She was NEVER informed that she was being recorded.... The company sent us ink and 5 separate invoices for ink (that all came in one box) we ended up paying them THOUSANDS for ink.  When the final invoice was paid, lo and behold here came another box of ink.  They now wanted to start a whole new cycle of invoices.

I as the owner of the company intervened and said absolutely not-----I called Infinity and said that we would be returning the ink.  I made them aware that the Admin is NOT an authorized decision maker at our company.  I was kind to have paid the initial set of invoices associated to the 1st box but I was not going to allow them to keep us in some contractual ink refill program. I should have sent the 1st box back to begin with because now this 2nd box is something that they are trying to collect thousands of dollars on.  They said that I could not return the ink and that I could get a discount.  I refused the discount.

They offered to exchange ink for other supplies.  I refused that also and said that all of the new ink shipment would be returned to them and I would not pay any further invoices. I had already paid for the 1st shipment in full and would not agree to keep any more ink.  They refused to agree to this and said a manager would be calling me back.  5 days later a manger (Shawn Matthews) called when I was out of the office--he told the Admin that if we didn't call back the same day we would be turned into collections.  I called him back the same day and he was unavailable. Go figure. Still sending back the 2nd box. I refuse to keep it and am tracking it through Fedex.

So upon looking into the correct address to send all of the ink back to (because they would not tell me what it was on the phone)  I realized that they have a PO Box listed on the enclosed packing slips-this was a red flag.  So then I looked at the box that they shipped and it states this address: 9120 Owensmouth Ave, Chatsworth CA 91311.  This is the same address that is linked to Green Tech Imaging & Allstate Imaging which are also ink/supply scam companies! So they basically form different company names to throw people off.  Infinity is the newest under the umbrella.  Look up Greentech Imaging and see the rip off reviews listed. Do the same for Allstate Imaging.  The name "Shawn" appears in another report nder Greentech. Coincendence--no, this same guy works for all 3 of these companies...

Check out: http://www.allstateimaging.com , http://infinityprintingsupplies.com , http://greentechimaging.com -- they are all formatted identical to each other.  The Environment page is word for word the same.  Stay away from all 3 of these companies--there may be more affiliated to the same address! Lesson learned--train all phone answering personnel to be aware of these scams.  The 1st set of ink that they sent us was cheap ink that has already run out 6 weeks later!!! And we paid triple the price for it--Xerox sells it for less as do many other reputable suppliers!

Train staff to hang up on anyone that calls the office and tries to sell ink--always buy ink from the manufacturer of the printer or from Quill and legit supply companies. This company over inflates the price of ink, they send cheap ink that doesn't last and they try to strong arm you when you figure out the scam.  Stay AWAY and spread the word.  I did this review because Infinity isn't listed on Rip Off report yet and needs to be.  I'm sure a new company is about to be formed that is all connected and will ship out of that same address now that this report is being filed..
