I ordered some inflatables for my son's communion last year.  I was a little reluctant, because we planning it outside, but when it advertised that you can cancel all the way up until 6pm the night before the event, I decided to go ahead and do it.  Needless to say, sure enough alot of the party goes cancelled, because they were calling for rain and some cold weather.  When I called Cheryll to cancel, the day before the event at 2pm, she refused to honor their wellk advertised rain policy, and then she got very nasty and hung up. Before I knew it, I got paperwork from a court that Cheryll had filed a judgment with!!  This is a horrible company to deal with for parties!!

Cheryll, the owner of Inflatable adventures tried to rip me off too by charging my credit card "cleaning fees".  The lies and accusations that came out of this ladies mouth were downright insulting.  She said things like..."go ahead try and do something about it", "I'll sue you...I'm used to bringing people to court".  We posted our experience on Yelp and she came back with her usual lies and she was just following her contract.  I am convinced she creates her own positive reviews.  Red flags went off with me before I even booked with her and I should have followed my instincts.  I will continue to tell every mom I know not to rent from her.

Cheryll, if you are reading this...shame on you. You are the most despicable person I have ever spoken to.  My only regret is stooping to your level because I think you really enjoyed it.  Congratulations, I was absolutely crazy over your audacity but in the end I am happy to say I was able to stop you from taking any extra money from me.

Totally False Accusation

My name is Cheryll and I am the owner of Inflatable Adventures.  We have been in business for 9 years servicing some of the best families in Ocean and Monmouth county NJ.  We pride ourselves for being one of the only inflatable companies in NJ that offers such a "consumer friendly"weather cancellation policy.  Simply stated, if rain is forecasted the day of your party, you may cancel up to 5pm (close of office) the night before your party and you WILL NOT incur a cancellation fee.  To prove our sincerity, we do not even require a deposit, which most companies charge in order to keep, should a cancellation occur.

Stephanie Fortes placed a $630 order for a communion party that was to be held in Hazlet, NJ on 4-30-11.  This day was a BEAUTIFUL 67 degree sunny Saturday with 0% chance of rain forecasted (this can be easily verified ...see attachment).  Ms. Forte called the afternoon of 4-29-11 and told me that not enough people were coming to warrant having to pay for the inflatable and the extra items she ordered.  This customer became irate when she realized that she agreed to a $150 cancellation fee unless her cancellation was due to poor weather.  Ms. Forte then changed her reason for canceling and tried to blame it on the weather but with a 0% chance of rain forecasted her claim was invalid. 

We stand by our policy to ensure our customers NEVER have to worry about paying a cancellation fee if their party has to be cancelled due to unfortunate weather.

Refund Policy:
Events are fully refundable if canceled at least 30 days prior to rental date. If canceled between 2-29 days prior to rental date, a rain check good for 6 months will be given. Canceled events within 24 hours of rental date are non-refundable. PLEASE NOTE: A 1.5% FINANCE CHARGE WILL BE INCURRED FOR UNPAID BALANCES AFTER 15 DAYS COMPUTED ON THE AMOUNT DUE AFTER COMPLETION OF EVENT, AND CUSTOMER WILL FORFEIT ALL DISCOUNTS. A 1.5% FINANCE CHARGE IS EQUAL TO 18% PER ANNUM.

Seems pretty clear.
