I began working for this company in october of 2000 and after almost 2 years of putting up with not being paid for hours i worked and miles that i drove, i was told by the company that they had no runs for me to make. When i applied for unemployment the company said that i had quit my job and never called them back to see if they had a run for me to make. Thus, i was denied unemployment benefits for a total of 13 weeks even though i had placed the calls from my cell phone and had verifiable records.
If you are a truck driver and are trying to get started running over the road, DO NOT trust this company, every job that I have applied for, they have black-balled me.... Thank God, I have finally found a job but, felt that I should warn other truck drivers that INNOVATIVE DRIVER SERVICES IS THE BIGGEST RIP OFF and they won't pay you for your miles or hours. If you have encountered the same problem, e-mail me .... I am seeking action against this company.

I have had the exact same problem.... They still owe me for about 2000 miles and about 72 hours. They kept promising to pay me with CommChecks and then they would deduct it from my pay the following week, as if it were a loan, which it was NOT. I am still owed money and on top of that, they had the unmitigated gall to charge me $10.00 for every commcheck that they issued me. I may be interested in helping with your action against this so-called trucking company.
