  • Inphonic 1010 Wisc Ave Nw St Washington D.C, Washington DC U.S.A.

Inphonic, Wireless Rebate Processing Center Ripoff InPhonic, received my completed rebate submission and sent a letter saying that it was not complete. Then informed me over the phone, 11/9/2006, that I had sent the information, that they already confirmed receiving, to an incorrect adress in Arizona. Now they are giving me the runaround hoping that I wouldn't have a complete copy of what I had sent. I am about to file suit against them. Washington D.C

The title describes what was done.

There are all types of fraud (n. Deliberate deceit; deception planned and executed with "intent" to deprive another of property, compensation or rights) going on. It is definately lookiing like Inphonic, Inc. is planning to comit fraud by not adhering to the 6 to 8 week rebate check offer that they agreed to pay after receiving the rebate submission. They confirmed in a letter to me that they have received it.

I recommend individuals pursue legal action if they feel there was a blatant attempt to delay a rebate submission whether they received the rebate check or not.

So many many people have been the victims of fraud by corporations like Inphonic, because they give up when the company sends them jump through hoops for months/years to get their due compensation. We as consumers should stand against this type of fraud and let these corporations know that we will NOT allow this type of theft. They may as well have said, we will do a random drawing and give rebates to x number of customers. The lie that I was told is that they didn't have my rebate submission on file. Well, I have a letter that says they do! My rebate amount for 2 phones should be exactly $170 per phone, totalling $340. I wonder how much their corporate attorneys get paid per hour.

I recommend contacting the BBB and State Atorney Generals Office in each city that this corporation has offices and filling a complaint. Did the company use the US Postal Service to commit fraud?? You may want to check that out too. Unless they make things right for all customers, let's run them out of town!
