Inside Fort Lauderdale claims to be an internet magazine writing real reviews about restaurants in and around Fort Lauderdale. I recently dined at a restaurant that has just opened in Oakland Park named Santa Lucia. This restaurant took over the Frankie and Johnny's units at 2701 Oakland Park BLVD. but does not have any affiliation to the old restaurant. We had such a wonderful time.
Inside Fort Lauderdale has written two reviews about Santa Lucia claiming that ownership is the same, just with a new concept. That is false. The review also claims the restaurant is open from 11:30 am to 10:00 pm, also false. As of now they are only open for dinner. The review continues on about the menu, all of which is mentioned is false.
Upon reading both reviews it is clear that whoever is writing these articles knows absolutely nothing about Santa Lucia. It's upsetting to see a company that is suppose to give real reviews about restaurants royally screw up a review about a new restaurant. They were so dead set on comparing it to what was previously there they haven't taken the time to enter Santa Lucia and write a real review! I tried to find the contact information on thier website, but conveniently the contact page on the website does not work. Do not trust this website!

Occassionally newspapers get it wrong, and considering that the "restaurant" had no website or information about the restaurant, sources were murky. The info was corrected as soon as it was cleared up and a full, actual review of the new restaurant has been completed.
One question is why would someone who has not been "ripped off" file a report on a site like this rather than simply contacting the publication and informing them that the information posted is incorrect. We have 1000s of venues and we can't be laser focused on every bit of information we get. We rely on people telling us when we're wrong.
When someone buys a restaurant and re-opens it with the same cuisine, it's normal and fair to compare it to what was there before, particularly when the place was only given a facelift rather than being completely re-done.
