Inspect USA Goods Megan Posey They offered to pay $40.00 per each package I received that I would re-ship to a new location in the US, utilizing their pre-paid shipping labels. I was to be paid after a 30-day probationary period. When that date came, all coordination ceased, and my password was no longer active. Needless to say, I never received the monies due for the 13 package that I actually re-shipped. Wilmington Delaware

See above. I would get roughly 2 package a week to re-ship, as they wanted to 'try me out' prior to releasing up to (100) packages a month, to me once my probationary period was over. They had a very nice site which showed what's shipping, when it's due, the tracking no., etc. It showed how much was earned, and when payment to me was to be made. They claimed that they were an 'intermediary' with Amazon. They claim that because may re-sellers of Amazon products turn out to be unreliable and irresponsible - they show expensive goods but send out a completely different and cheaper item. To avoid this, the Amazon Co verifies sellers and holds payments when verifying. They supposidly help Amazon to reduce the payment hold and provide sellers with an opportunity to become a proven user of Amazon. Their claim is that they inspect packiages, their condition and content. This I was never asked to do - at least throught the probationary period. They remove old packing slips and replace with new downloadable packing slips. They claim sellers who bouht goods at a discount, or by using coupons get up to a 40% discount, who then want to sells those goods at higher prices on the Amazon website. Each seller pays Inspect USA $30.00 for every verified package. The seller supposidly will also pay $23.00 to the Amazon as a non-verified worker. The claim that since Inspect USA works for Amazon, the company pays them a 'reward' for our work and inspection (13% of the package value) which in total their profit is $30.00 + 13% for every inspected package. This is how they obtain a profit, and pay our salary. Beware! You'll never get paid for any work done!

Sorry to tell you this but you not only got scammed, you have probably become an accessory to criminal acts.
The entire story these people fed you is fake, and they are not affiliated with Amazon. Companies do not hire 3rd parties to help sellers "verify" what is being shipped. Think about the logic. What would keep a legitimate sender from sending a $1000 piece of jewlery, and the "verifier" saying that all they got was a $10 pinky ring? Had you actually opened the boxes you would have been shocked at what you would have found, and I can guarantee you that it wasn't what you were told.
This type of "reshipping" scam needs a real address to ship to, as well as to try and hide the real shipper information. You ask where does the crime come in? Well they say that the sellers bought the items at a discount. This is probably the only thing they told you that is the truth, their discount was 100%. If you haven't figured it out by now, the items you are receiving were paid for with stolen payment information (Checks, Credit Cards, Money Orders..). If you resent the packages with any sort of prepaid label or "account" number, again that was fraudlent information. If the real account holder reports it to the shipping company, if at anytime you gave them your real name or address expect to receive a bill for the shipping charges.
Then when this entire scheme "unravels" as it very often does, the only "real" address they have is yours. They hopefully will realize you were just naive and didn't really know what was going on, but there is no guarantee.
Again if you haven't figured it out, all of the information they gave you is fake. Any phone number is probably to a throw away cell phone paid for with a stolen credit card and be disconnected within the month. The names they gave you are fake. Any real address they gave you for their company is either a fake address or to a company that has nothing to do with this.
In short, NEVER be willing to take packages and "reship" them regardless of how legitimate the story sounds. Also, if you ever get any sort of check or money deposited into your account NEVER send them money back. Again regardless of how legitimate their story sounds. Any company that wants you to pay them in "Gift Cards" again is a scam.
In short..if it sounds too good to be true..it probably is.
