I wanted to pay my propane bill on line. Entered propane dealers name in seearch engine. First site that came up was Checkmate. I authorized a payment, which the gas company received. I was outraged at the charge they tacked on for this service. Cancelled service but continued to get billed $22.86 per month. I was getting a monthly reminder that the gas bill was due. I pay it directly via mail, avoiding Checkmate. I am no longer getting monthly reminders-but continue to get billed $22.86 per month. I will be contacting my credit Card Provider.
