Instant Checkmate is either a scam or a very poor service. I had them to check the background of 2 people including myself, and I know I have a police record, and so does the other person, but they could not get any info. What they did do was to pull mone from my debit card 2 weeks later, I guess I must have missed the fine print! So they got me for an extra 30 dollars and I still got no Info.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Ask for a refund

AUTHOR: DarlingDarcy - (USA)

Just call and ask for a refund. If they won't just call your credit card company. Most of the time they just refund your money though, bc most of the times credit card companies will side with the consumer
