I purchased QuickBooks and Rosetta stone software from this company for a total of $67, and when I attempted to download and install the software, the links did not work. When I contacted instantsoftware123, they didn't respond until 3 days later and said their techs can install the programs for an extra $10. So, I paid the fee, then another 2 days passed, and after many, many emails and text messages, they finally responded.
Their so-called techs spent over 3 hours trying to remotely install the software on my computer with no success. Then, the next day, tried again for another 2 hours, and still could not install the programs, so they sent me a message stating that there must be an issue with my Windows OS, and they need to Uninstall the operating system, defrag my computer, then reinstall Windows.
The also said defragging may wipe out other software already on my computer, and I may have to go back and reinstall those programs when they're finished. I refused to allow them to do this to my computer and requested a refund. They refused to give a refund, and said just pick something else from their website and they will install it for me. Since, the trust was longer there at this point, I just requested a refund, and still, they refused.
Do not trust this company, apparently, they are hard up for money and are very dishonest, and will not stand behind the guarantee that's plainly advertised on their website.
I guess I should have realized it was too good to be true, when they offered $600 worth of software for just $67, should have been a RED FLAG! If they sell you a software program and the link or the software doesn't work, they will not take responsibility for it.
I have never written an online review or complaint, but as a single mom with very little funds, I felt this was necessary because consumers need to know about this online company.
