In November of '07 I ordered some Viagra dissolving tablets from "InstantTabs.com" after hearing their National Radio Advertising on my Sirius Radio. I figured that since they were advertising on National Radio, that they must be legitimate. (Forget the Viagra jokes, people. Your time will eventually arrive, too... LOL)
During my initial call, there was a mandatory screening process by a licensed physician, for which you pay an additional one-time $65 doctor's fee. (On subsequent re-orders, this fee was not collected). Once this was completed, the Doctor stated right on the phone that I would receive 10 of the **100mg** dissolving tablets that could be easily split in half (true) to give me the proper **50mg** dose.
To my surprise, when I got the first order, there were 10 **50mg** tablets which, of course, when split in half will only yield a 25mg dose, or a half-strength dose! This is a classic "Bait-and-Switch". Additionally, there are ABSOLUTELY NO MARKINGS or numbers at all on these tablets (Authentic Viagra *pills* have numbers on them from Pfizer), making me wonder if these dissolving tablets are possibly fake, or not even regulated by the FDA.
In addition, the 10-pack "bubble packaging", which seperates each individual tablet, does not have ANY manufacturer's markings on it- only a sticker on the back, which contains: the pharmacy's name, address, phone, instructions for use, contents and strength, and Rx# on the label. They could even be buying 100mg doses, then diluting them and re-selling them to unwitting consumers at full price...
I placed another order a couple of weeks ago and got exactly the same result on the order. This time, I paid very careful attention to what that doctor told me on the phone. He distinctly said I "would receive 10 of the **100mg** tablets". I will place another order in a couple of weeks and tape record the conversation to make sure I capture his lie and misrepresentation that he presents to me.
I am making parallel complaints to both the FDA and Dep't of Consumer Affairs, and will make another post here when I hear back from those two agencies.
When I called the 877 number to find out why they only sent the 50mg tablets, he explained that since these dissolve under the tongue, they are equivalent to the 100mg dose. I have since found out that this is not the case. When I use a **whole** 50mg tablet, the results are equilivalent to the regular 50mg "pill" form that I had used in the past from a local pharmacy.
I got to wondering how many other consumers have been lied to upon placing an order for these dissolving tablets. Have you been ripped off, too? Make a post here so that they will all be in the right thread.

Update after phone call from Customer Service
AUTHOR: Bob - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Friday, May 16, 2008
This morning, I received a nice phone call from "Greg" in Florida, who works for InstantTabs.com.
Greg explained that he had just recently received a copy of my email that I sent to InstantTabs.com (shortly after I made my original post HERE). In that email to them, I explained how upset I was at twice being "deceived" while making my over-the-phone purchase of their great product.
After patiently listening to my story, Greg explained that when Dr. Pickens told me:
"--the 50mg tablets I received are "dissolveable" and are absorbed more effeciently, so they were 'still equivalent' to a 100mg dose, and they should be split in half to get the correct doseage--", he was mistaken.
Greg said they have NEVER made the "dissolveable" tablets (called "troches") available in a 100mg dose. The only form they sell that comes in the 100mg dose is the actual Viagra tablet. He said the troches are meant to be used as a complete dose, not split in half...
They kindly offered to exchange the "troches" that remain in my package for some of the actual Viagra 100mg tablets (to be split in half), which I will do.
I also want to add that the customer service that Greg gave to me on the phone this morning was much better than when I talked to Dr. Pickens on the phone in Ogden right after opened my package. This level of customer service is precicely what consumers deserve whenever a problem occurs with an order.
As a final note, I will continue to make purchases from InstantTabs.com, however, I will only deal with the people in Florida or make my purchases via their secure website.
