InstaPay International LLC Employer refused to pay final wages and unpaid expenses to employees who resign. Instead CHARGES the employees $50 an hour for hours not meeting a 45 hour work week. Carlsbad California

WARNING to all individuals interested in working for InstaPay International LLC in Carlsbad California. This is a very toxic and unstable environment to work in. I do not recommend pursuing an job opportunity with this company. Once employed you will have to sign a employee agreement stating that the employer can charge YOU $50 per hour for every hour that does not meet the 45 hour work week requirement. This is absurd and is against the law. If and when you choose to leave the company the Owner and Chief (CEO) will dispute your final wages and you will not receive your full final check, nor will it be within the 72 hours which is required by law. This has happened to many employees in the past and continues to be an issue.

Consider this fair warning. If you choose to take a position with this company, do not sign the employee agreement that states that the company will charge you. If you do, make sure your time sheets calculate to 45 hours a week whether you work them or not.

The Labor Board has already been contacted regarding at least one case. If you have fallen victim to this company and its unlawfulness then you should contact the California Labor Board too.
