Insure Apple Iphone and Insure Apple Ipad lure you in with their low prices and guarantee to fix or replace your damaged device. They offer many payment options and will even insure used Iphones and Ipads. They are very nice and welcoming when you sign up. Until of course you have to file a claim. I chose their monthly plan so I could cancel at anytime. So three months in it happened my Iphone went thru the washing machine.

I called to file a claim and the phone rang and rang. When someone finally answered they were very rude. I explained what happened and was placed on hold, only to be disconnected. I called again, I guess they tie your phone number to your account in their system with caller id, because this time someone picked up and hung right up.

Frustrated and pissed off for a lack of better words, I went to their website www.insureappleiphone.com to file a claim online. 2 days past no response, 3 days nothing so I called again the phone rang and rand and then click hung up on. I called from a friends phone and sure enough they answered and I explained again, everything that went on and was assured I would be emailed the documentation to send my phone in for repair. I told the rep that it went thru the washer and he informed me that in that case I would have to get a replacement for $350.00!!! For a refurbished phone! Frustrated because they hadn't even gotten my phone to diagnose it, and they were already trying to scam more money out of me I said ok and hung up.

7 days later I finally get the email. It stated in big bold letters we are not responsible if your phone gets lost to or from our facility and we do not insure phones thru the USPS that are mailed back to our customers. After seeing this I decided no I am not giving you my phone so your can claim you never received it.

I called Apple, they may not be the nicest company to their competitors but to their customers they are very helpful 90% of the time. Long story short they told me to take it to any apple store pay a 199.00 out of warranty fee and bam new phone! So I got my phone replaced and insured for less than what this company would have replaced it for IF THEY RECEIVED IT AND IT DIDN'T GET LOST ON ITS WAY BACK! The genius that helped me was very sympathetic and gave me the insurance half off. Lesson learned I guess.

So do not do business with these people, they make it look good until you need to use it. To top it all off they sent me an email today that my payment was declined lols I cancelled that card 2 months ago so its 2 months behind ha ha ha.
