I had not noticed this on my phone bill until this month a charge for $8.23. I called the phone company and they have been billing me this for 14 out of the last 15 months that totals 115.22 I have paid these people.

I asked the phone company to stop billing me this amount but they said that because they are regulated the FCC requires that they provide this service whether the bill is ligitimate or not. I have of course called the toll-free number provided and spoke to a woman that would not allow me to speak to the supervisor and I am concerned with giving them my phone number since they are already showing fraudulent tendencies.

Here is my question to all of you (especially if you are in the legal profession). Since I get my phone bill in the mail could this company be charged with Mail Fraud and could we use the postal service to put them out of business? I have attempted to find the company in San Jose, CA but they have no physical address listed there and they will only give a PO Box for their address when you ask their CSR's.
