Integretel Ripoff, Fraudulent Billing Internet

We were billed by Verizon the sum of $34.80 for services claimed to be provided by Integretel Inc. The service was listed as a 9 minute call to Infoservice zz 900 444 0308

The following comment appeared above the charges: This portion of your bill is provided as a service to Integretel, Inc. Your local telephone service will not be disconnected for failure to pay the charges on this portion of your bill. If you fail to pay these charges, the service provider may pursue collections independently.

At the bottom of the charges the following appeared: If you have a question please call 1 800 736 7500

I called this number, waited 15 minutes for a rep, explained I never made this call, and was offered a 50% reduction. This person insisted I made the call, informed me Integetel would block the number, but would pursue the balance. After 10 to 15 minutes of my insisting this was a scam and my threats of exposing this to the media and taking legal action she agreed to remove the charge. She also stated this may take 2 or more billing cycles.

I was online at the time thru AOL, and feel this scam is being carried out thru a virus, or some sort of spyware.
