6 months back, when I was looking for deals to buy cell phones, one of my friends suggested to me, an online wireless retailer called www.intelenetwireless.com.
I went through the site, and found that they indeed had good deals. I bought a Motorola V300, with a TMobile service plan. I was billed, as shown as the site, and amount of $149.99. The site suggested that we get a $49.99 mail-in rebate from Tmobile and $50+$75 mail in rebate from A1Wireless.com.

I got the Tmobile rebate after a month, but the catch with intelenetwireless rebates was that the $50 rebate must be filed for, along with the second month's bill and the $75 rebate with the third month's bill.

When my phone was shipped, I got a bunch of rebate forms, which I was supposed to use while filing for rebates. Unfortunately, I was moving apartments, and lost the rebate forms. I remembered that intelenetwireless.com had links on its site, which said rebate forms, so I tried going online and downloading the forms (which is usually the case with standard sites like Amazon.com). But, interestingly, the link which read mail-in rebate forms (or some thing on similar lines) lead me to a page which had some text, but no information as to how to download a form.

I then, called their customer service. The customer service guys said I need to contact the rebate center people. The rebate center people said that since the forms were dispatched, it was a case of customer service. They put me back to customer service.

The customer service guys once again directed me back to rebate center, and these people, inturn, sent me back to customer service, by which time I was thoroughly frustrated. I told the person on the phone that I would like to talk to their supervisor. The supervisor came in, and said that I needed to talk to rebates again. I told him that I was a customer and since they were the customer service people, I wud expect them to have some information, and that rebates peopl have already said that they cant do any thing.

He then told me that the rebate forms have been mailed to me. I told him that I lost them and that was the reason I was calling them. I asked him if he can direct me to a site online from which the forms can be downloaded. He said there was no such site. When I asked him if the forms can be resent, he said it was the company policy that rebate forms will not be mailed again.

NO WHERE on the site did they mention this "company policy". And they said that they cant mail me the rebate forms, neither can I download them.

I finally asked the guy if this means that my rebates were lost. His reply was, "We are not denying you the rebates ma'am, please send in your rebate forms and we would gladly process your rebates as per the company policy"!!! If I had the rebates in the first place, I wouldnt have called these people and been talking to them for 40 minutes in the first place!

I would say that these people are ripping customers with their "company policy". Buyers from intelenetwireless.com/A1wireless.com, beware!!!

I have ordered from a1 wireless before and I will admit that their rebate process is confusing and it is probably set up in a way that makes it hard to actually get your rebates. But I did recieve ALL my rebates from them, all $250.00!! I signed up about 2 years ago w/ a family plan from tmobile. I recieved 2 nokia 3595's, 2 free earbuds, 2 free holsters, and free shipping, not to mention the 2 phones were absolutely free also. so we paid $0 upfront and were promised $125 in rebates back for each phone. So I carefully submitted all the paperwork on time and kept copies for myself, and sure enough... all $250 in rebates came without a hitch! So I know that it is very possible to get all your rebates from them, you just have to follow their directions SUPER CAREFULLY, double check all information you submit, keep copies of everything for your records, and be very aware of the dates of the rebates. I would order from them again!

A message from A1Wireless

AUTHOR: Chris - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, November 26, 2004

We have had a quite a few A1 Wireless customers who have given us some constructive feedback regarding our rebate program.

There are a few things that you can do to help avoid rebate issues:

Be sure to mail all of your documents by the postmark date specified with the rebate

Be sure to include all of the required documents such as barcode and phone bill

Make sure you don't cancel your contract before the required contract time is up.

These are the main reasons why a few customers have not been able to have their rebates redeemed.

To all those who have placed an order with us and are waiting for rebates do not be alarmed. We have a competent and dedicated rebate department on hand to assist all of our customers. Our consumer relations dept can be reached at 718-683-3222 and if you have any specific questions, concerns or complaints please email A1 Wireless directly at desouza@A1Wireless.com and they will respond back promptly within 24 hours.

We value and appreciate our customers and look forward to continue offering the best deals anywhere on the Web. Thank you for your support and suggestions."

They refused to pay mine inspite I send them in time. My blackberry was broken so I got a loaner TREO for one and half week during which Tmobile has to give me TREO wireless service.
Intelenetwireless refused me as my bill was reduced by 10 dollars during that 11 days. They MUST BE PUNISHED!!!!!
