Interac Universal,of,Leadway Financial Computer Reward Program Sweepstakes Scam send a check for you to cash, allows you to cash it, then steals your identity Calgary Alberta

I received a check in the mail for $1,998.75 and a letter stating that I had won a sweepstakes in a computer reward program. I was urged to cash the check and return a portion of it for clearance fees back to a company in Canada, then I would receive the rest of the sweepstakes.

I was strongly advised to keep this winning highly confidential as part of a security protocol until my winnings had been processed. I was informed to contact a claim agent by the name of Leslie Jones,of, Leadway Financial at 1-403-397-0144 for authorization and activation of my winnings.

I looked up Interac Universal on the internet, and found numerous reports from others who cashed these checks, and the company then had their bank account number, and drained the accounts. Another woman reported being arrested for possession of a fraudulent check when she went into a check cashing place to cash it. I was encouraged to report that I received this check also.
