I hired this company after they got my contact information from Marketing Experiments.com, which I did not approve of. Anyways I trusted them because I trusted Marketing Experiments, but I should have known better.

They had a slick salesman call me and tell me everything I wanted to hear and then once I signed the contract everything the salesman said was no longer important.

The only thing important to this company is the misleading contract they have you sign. I want to warn anyone that is thinking about using this company to think three times before saying yes.

I would just say no! They do not care about the customer or helping them succeed, which is their business model. They are a wolf in sheeps clothing, stay away, far away from Interchanges.com!

I lost $9000 and in return I received a broken ordering form that I have been trying to get finished for three months now, but that is another story (Sourcefuse.com beware of them also). Sourcefuse is the programming company Interchanges.com uses, yes they out source everything, but their sub-par designers, and charge you a premium fee for doing it. I was going to have sourcefuse finish the ordering form, which I have to pay more money above and beyond the $9000 I already paid Interchanges.com.

So I'm stuck with this ordering form that I can't use. Out $9000, which was a settlement from the $30,000 Interchanges threatened to sue me for. And I have to pay more money to SourceFuse to finish my broken ordering form.

Sourcefuse keeps giving me the run around and will not finish my ordering form because they say "I can't pull people of paying projects to work on yours." What!? I paid $9000 already for this form I tell him, they say "Interchanges.com got that and I did not benefit from it at all." So for three months I have been dealing with Sourcefuse to try and get my project completed and they finally scheduled a date for the final migration.

It was at 2AM MST, that was good because it is a slow time and would be a good time to make a switch on the server. So I make sure I'm up at 2AM, I hear nothing , 3 AM, nothing 4 AM nothing, 5AM nothing, 6AM nothing, 7AM I finally get an Email saying one of their programmers was in a car accident and the other programmer was at the hospital with him all night so he could do the migration. So both of their programmers where at the Hospital all night? I'm sorry about the accident, if it's true.

Then the main programmer that could have done the job himself if he felt it was worth his time, but obviously it wasn't. he tells me "We'll get it done today still." I say ok fine, great! Three hours later I email him asking if he can give a time when it can be done (mean while I'm totally exhausted from staying up all night waiting for the planned migration.) and he says "Oh, we will not be able to do it today, it's going to have to wait another week or so because of Christmas.

At this point I am so frustrated I cant see straight. This is the third excuse they have given me and delayed the project over the last three months. When the total time involved would have been 3 hours max if we had problems, they just had to sync my database. He said it would take less then 1 hour to do.

All of this because I trusted Interchanges.com. Don't make the same mistake I made! Don't trust anything a salesman/company says; have it put in writing in the contract!

Is money all companies care about these days? What about helping the customer, especially if you're in the helping companies grow type of business. The company InterChanges.com was supposed to help my company grow, but instead they have made my company struggle more then ever!

First and foremost, this complaint by GraphicsFactory.com is completely invalid on all counts.

Rob from GraphicsFactory.com was apparently expecting to have unlimited work and changes without any cost of any kind. Repeated emails pleading to be treated as a "valued customer" and requests to "please complete all this work for me for free" demonstrate a classic case of someone wanting everything for free. Just check his own original posting:

Is money all companies care about these days?

and some other direct quotes from this customer's email communications:

"Will you finish setting it up for no additional charge?"

"Is that going to be free or am I going to have to pay for that?"

"Can you please give me a break on your fee?... If you could please give me a returning customer fee I would really appreciate it Please give me a break here."

in addition to all this, we **DID AGREE** to this as a personal favor and provided all details and work, at which time this customer asked for several more additions and enhancements and continuing work, expecting it all to be free as well. Give this customer an inch and I suppose he will expect a mile.

Graphicsfactory is in no way a not-for-profit company (just the opposite in fact, selling clipart), nor are we (SourceFuse) in the business of providing free software development work for anyone who happens to ask, plead, and beg for it. I'm not aware of any business that will provide free services to everyone who asks just because they happen to beg for it.

This customer did not pay for any work that was done (even at the favor rate he pleaded for), and when payment was refused by this customer, we of course stopped all work. Somehow this came as a surprise to this non-paying customer. Would any company out there behave differently to non-paying, problematic customers that refuse to pay yet demand additional work (and use profanity in the process)?

It is also interesting to note that he is infact using the actual code written for him on his live site currently...which of course he did not pay for at all. Beware of GraphicsFactory.com. To respond to this customer's question in-kind: Does no one care about integrity and honest business these days? GraphicsFactory.com apparently does not.
