Interface Talent Network are a bunch of SCAM Artists Gaithersburg Maryland

I was approached by a recruit for Interface in December 2013. They asked me to come in for a "free" evaluation to be a part of their talent/modeling agency. Of course I did it because I figure it doesn't hurt to try and plus its free. I went in to interface a couple days later and it was a nightmare! I waited for 2 hours and then when I was finally seen by a "director" she basically locked me in a room until I bought one of their photo shoot packages. Her name was Natalie and she is the Vice President of that office. She convinced me to buy the $1600 package because the cheaper ones just weren't good enough according to her. Natalie and I signed a contract that said it could be cancelled if a written cancellation was mailed in to their office within 3 business days. Then I would receive a check for the refund within 30 days. After I left that meeting with her I realized they were a rip off and way over priced for that photo-shoot. I wrote the cancellation letter and sent it out the next day. So I waited about 23 days and called the client services to see when I should be expecting my refund. Of course their help line doesn't have an option for refunds so you have to play a game and get transferred about 5 times before you get to the right person. After about 15 minutes of waiting I talked to someone and they said the 30 days is not up yet and I should be expecting my check in a week. While I was on the phone he verified my address since they needed to do that before they sent the check out (no one told me that nor was it in the contract).

So I waited 2 weeks and still no check. I called the client services again. After being transferred and waiting another 15 minutes I got to someone who could help me. She said I hadn't gotten my check because I never verified my address. I said I did that 2 weeks ago the last time i called. She quickly said ok and asked me to hold. When she came back she said my check hadn't been sent out because they changed merchants or something like that. So that’s why my check is being held up. She said that I should expect my check in another week. I said ok and waited and waited.. I didn't call back again until it had been over 60 days since I sent my cancellation letter. This time was a complete nightmare because I couldn't get through to ANYONE that could help me. No one could tell me why my check hadn't been sent out. I spent an hour on the phone and kept getting hung up on it was terrible. I finally gave up. I tried again the next week and instead i called right to this location and demanded a direct number to someone that could help me because I was not going to go through that terrible automated service. They gave me an extension and when I tried the person that answered said no we don't do that here. I kept calling and asking for another extension. Finally I thought I found someone that could help me, her name is Kyra. She said she would call me back by 4pm that day with an answer. She also said that she would be in the office until 8pm.Surprise surprise she never called me back. SO I called her and left a voicemail at 6pm because surprise surprise she had already left for the day. I called her back the next day and she said some dumb excuse about why she didn't call me back and that she would definitely call me back later that day and if she didn't by 6:30pm then I should call her. So surprise again she didn't call me by 6:30 so I called her and left yet another voicemail. So I called her back the next day and she wasn't in. She promised me an answer by Friday and she did not deliver.

It has now been 72 days since I sent my cancellation letter and I have not received my money. I don't understand how a company can sign a contract with you and just not follow it at all. I should have gotten my money back within 30 days. This company has terrible customer service and I cannot believe they are still in business. I do not make a lot of money and I really need my $1645 back ASAP.
