On December 14,2017 I received a call from a woman named Linda Lawson saying that she was calling from the fraud investigation department of Internal Dispute Resolution Company on behalf of Cashnet USA. Then she transferred me to the in house attorney, Richard Green. Mr Green informed me that I owed $775 to Cashnet USA. and they were meaning to collect. I explained that had owed that company along with another online payday loan, however I had settled that debt in the amount of:$1700 the week before. Mr. Green went on to tell me that I still owed $775 and if I did not agree to pay it using my debt card, they would have me arrested and sent to federal prison for fraud against the government! This frightened me to no end, so I agreed to start making payments of 193.75 in four installments. He had me to electronically sign the contract via e-mail. They started with drawing the payments on January 12, 2018. They drew three payments, however I stopped payment on the last one on February 26, because I had no money! I did not have the payment for February 10 th so, the payment was declined. Neil Simon's called me on February 20, 2018 and threatened to send me to further collections if I did not follow through with the last payment. I told him that I had no money because I had broken my ankle in December and missed work. He sent the payment through anyway and I got my bank involved to stop the payment. I have not heard anything from thisbso called company since then. I need my money back! I sure hope filling this report will help me in this matter.
