International Living Magazine Trial view prematurely becomes $140 subscription NO REFUNDS unknown unknown

Beware!  If you provide your credit card information to International Living for a trial subscription to anything they have you will soon find large charges to the card without your permission.  Their business is information about living costs and benefits in other locations, or so they say. They will be difficult to contact.  When you call the billing number on your charge account, there will be a long delay before anyone ever speaks to you.  Their intention appears to be to run off as many callers as is possible.  Their recording will always say they have an unusally large volume of calls on that day.  Their voice mail will also say the delay will be one minute.  Expect 5 to 10 minutes or more.  When you finally get the speak to someone, they will put you on hold, later will tell you they do not reverse charges or do refunds.

It is a shame, more than a shame, it is criminal that so many businesses (real businesses) choose to steal from the public in this manner.  It is deliberate.  It is with bad intentions.  It is simply stealing.  I advise you not to do business with any company that you know operates in this manner.
