I was contacted at work three years ago, notifying me that I had been selected to participate in a special magazine program. Keep in mind that I was at work managing a Bakery with 20 employees under me, a lot going on at that moment. This person on the other end of the phone was relentless, so to get her off the phone I agreed to a subscription that I did not really understand, I did ask her if I wanted to cancel this subscription later on would I be able to. She indicated it would not be a problem.

Well it has been three very long years and it is a problem to cancel this crap. This woman is extremely rude, harasses you both at work and at home.

About a year into this stuff I called Direct Readers Guild, I ask "what would it take to cancel this subscription". My conversation with her assured me that this was not going to happen and I would have to pay $600.00 to get out of this, I then asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that there wasn't one available.
In addition, I was then transfered to a young male after asking multiple times to speak with a supervisor.

I told him I was very unhappy with the service and I wanted to close my account he then told me I needed to talk with a supervisor. (I thought you were the super). I was then transfered back to the same "rude-a*s" woman who doesn't get the phrase "stop calling me at work" with an obviously fake dialect, trying to explain to me the paramenters of a subscription. Since she couldn't hear me for the love of her own voice I hung up.......TRULY FED UP!!!!!
