Unfortunately, I've had the same experience with IMG as everyone else here.
I signed up in 10/03 with the expectation that I would be provided access to first-quality, below-wholesale merchandise, Import/Export training, and pre-screened leads sufficient for connecting with 50 serious buyers.
Needless to say, it became clear to me during the training sessions that IMG was more interested in selling useless memberships than in actually running a business. My trainer Lino Castanon (now curiously going by the name Lino Carlton) obviously knew very little about the Import/Export business and was clearly instructing me in nothing more than cold-calling techniques. Very little inventory was available on IMG's listing service, substantially all of which was much less attractive than originally promised. It would be a complete waste of time, not to mention positively embarrassing, to present such dimal offerings to an actual client.
When I voiced these concerns to IMG, they responded with nothing but BS and empty assurances. My trainer would argue this was a proven system, that inventory fluctuates daily, that Import/Export training would be forthcoming, that it typically takes about four months for affiliates to begin generating an income, etc, etc. As my efforts were better spent on true income-generating activities than on continuing to play along with this scam, I was quickly forced to accept that Id been duped.
I choose not to pursue a refund my $7,450 payment in the courts since the cost and time required to do so is prohibitive. However, if a class action suit is filed, I will gladly cooperate.

The case was long settled by class action and he was sent to jail. No body got any money back.
