BEWARE of Stephanie Wilson. In 2015 she was scamming people on Craigslist using the email stephaniewilson008@hotmail.com. Now in 2017 she’s scamming on Kijiji and using the email stephaniewilson004@outlook.com. I doubt Stephanie Wilson is even female. She will send you emails from paypal.paymentalert@ymail.com posing as "PayPal" - instructing you to use Western Union to transfer a moving fee way above your asking price to a supposed shipping agent and she will provide the address. Fact – the address will most probably not be in either of your provinces, states or countries. Fact – PayPal will never ask you to make Western Union payments or transfers and will NOT / NEVER WILL email from paypal.paymentalert@ymail.com Below you can see her initial email which seems to follow the same cut and paste script as in 2015; "Good day, i am Stephanie, stationed in Colorado. I would have loved to see this item but am presently busy here at the base. I am Okay with your advert price and i will as well be sending your money via PayPal asap. Do you have PayPal account so that i can proceed with the payment. Kindly get back to me with your PayPal info and also have the posting deleted Asap. 1.Are you the original owner 2.how long have you own it & present condition ? 3.what's the pick up location ? 4.what's your direct phone # ? Thanks" If you engage with her further because you are unaware of her con she will send her fake PayPal email money transfer with instructions to proceed with your counter Western Union money transfer. The email will even be complete with links to all the Western Union outlets within your area. Information sourced by your buyer Stephanie from posting your postal code on your sales ad. If you reject her PayPal “transfer” which was always and will always be fake she will attempt to guilt trip you into making the Western Union transfer – claiming that her own funds aren’t reclaimable until you follow PayPals' instructions. Ironically she might even go as far as alerting the authorities about your attempt to scam her; as she did with me. She may send you an email from the “authorities” - complete with FBI headers and closing with a photoshopped picture of a RCMP patch. Cllassic. BEWARE of anyone who uses this template to hustle your money.
