My wife and I were suppose to go to Maui in June for our 10year anniversery although in Feburary we found out my wifes father was getting married along with our step sister that we were suppose to stand up to. Although we went to try to cancel our getaway week in June so we can go to the weddings in Feburary Interval International refused to change the wek or give us a refund. Which I think is fraud that they keep your money if you can't make it for a legitate reason and need to change your week. Further there disclosure book is all full of nonsense because have the book will tell you that you can get refund if you cancel in advanced then torwards the back it says there are no refunds or exchanges but you can receive a guest certificate which we were never offered. Interval International further pressures you in to watching there presentation for 90 minutes to try to convince you how good it would be to own a timeshare and to buy one. So what they do is give you gifts to get you to do there tour so they can pressure you to buy one. Also Interval International policy is that you can only get refunded if its a medical reason where you can't fly although what the hell is the insurance for when you cant cancel for reason other then being sick. Interval International has had several complaints put on the rip off report sight which indicates how there business is just all a scam, misleading,fraud,etc. It just goes to show you based upon the several compalints in the rip off report website it goes to show you that buyers need to be aware they are a company that is all fake and consumers need to be aware of this so they don't get caught in a trap and get a timeshare from them and if you need to cancel other then medical reasons then your out of luck.
