 Jd valley stream ny. This is a reply to the comment left from no pity. I guess you have never made any mistakes in your lifetime. I have never had an infraction driving in 34 years of driving. Not even a parking ticket. I was hit by another car and driven into a pole. I had 5 fractured ribs a broken thumb and 100 stitches in my head. I did not hurt anyone I was the one who took the hit. The other driver was arrested on the scene for DWI. I had two glasses of wine with dinner at 530. I was hit at 930 going to the store for pet food. I woke up in the hospital 3 days later as I was unconscious for that time. I have paid my dues with this mistake and take my full responsibility for my actions. I am not saying that anyone who drinks and drives should get a slap on the wrist. The punishment should fit the crime. I am talking about faulty equipment with this company. Not saying I should not have to have it in my car. So please don't respond to the reason why I have to wear this. You do not know the circumstances of my case. The equipment should not be faulty like they are and there are thousands of complaints about these units. Killing batteries starters alternators etc. I have paid enough for my mistakes believe me. Jail, attorney fees,court fees, DMV fees, interlock fees., etc. so now because of these faulty machines I have to wear an ankle bracelet which costs $500.00 and $9.00 a day. Again I made my mistakes and have learned from them as well as the guy who slammed into my car. I did not hurt anyone thank god. It is time to move on with my life but the system will just not let you because of comments like yours.

 Sorry but what YOU are going through is NOTHING in comparison to the lives lost to people like YOU. People who at some point thought NOTHING of driving intoxicated. SO YOU get to deal with all of this and the rest of us who have lost family members get to just suffer the loss. EVERYTHING that is happening to you is due to YOUR CHOICE!!!! So YOU get to live with those consequences, and I STRESS the LIVE part heavily. YOU seem to think its UNFAIR and CRUEL that YOU have to wear an ankle monitor. I think its UNFAIR that YOU get off so easily. SO suck it up princess, its the COST of what YOU CHOSE TO DO.
