I spoke with a Rep from Invent-tech in march of 2004, I sent in the initial payment of $700.00 to get started. I recieved my portfolio and mailed in the
(advanced Development Agreement) along with a check for $5000.00 in late march of 2004. At the time I was a member of the Tennessee Army National Guard and called to active duty for deployment to Iraq in May of 2004. I served 17 months on active duty and 12 of those where in Iraq. So by the time I had gotten home half my contract was up. I came home with (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)and was not in any condition to handle any business. Is there any way to protect veterans from a situation like this.
Im not pointing any fingers in anger, I would just appreciate alittle more respect for U.S Vets and some recognition for my concept. I have more concepts for Green Tech innovations, but I cant work with out financing.
I put my hole life into that concept and to now recently see it on the market with my pockets empty crushes my spirit. When I came up with the concept,I was in the military and that was who it was originally intended for.
Had I not been fighting a war, I would probably be very wealthy right now, and be working on my next big Green Tech innovation.
Is there any protection or contract pause due to deployment in a time of War.
Can anyone Help me?

My intentions, first of all, where not to make anyone feel sorry for me at all. Im just letting it be know that War destroys Lives.Familys, and Dreams. Yea you may think u burst my bubble by telling me some item has been on the market for years.
Well guess what, Innovations are alot more then just products. Innovations are products, concepts, and or ideas that help us,as a Society,Country or Nation,to better understand our resources and make the most of them.
So ur telling me that my Concept has or had nothing to do with improving and expanding how we use our available resources. Contrary my friend, seems like u are the one who needs to do some research before insulting other peoples inteligance.

am sorry to pop your bubble, i did a simple google search and self tinting glass has been on the market as early 1980's in many different manfufactures,
self tinting eye glasses, patented by polaroid from 1974
so unless you had some revolutionary new way to do this that could be produced less expensive than existing technogily, better performance ect ect ect
your been beat by 30 or 40 years
this is why invent tech is not interested, you could have saved yourself allot expense by doing a bunch of google searches, with key words like "online patents", "comercial glass", "self tinting glass", "invent tech scam" . i am sure you could fight off that PSD long enough to think a few others
you would have found out in 10 minutes that your late, that is if indeed you came up with this idea in a vacume of the last 40 years
what i think is despictable is people useing PSD as an excuse to get others to feel sorry for them, as to why on a public forum like this you would mention in the first paragraph that you have PSD is really creppy

They steal your money for a bad idea, if it is a good idea they steal your money and idea.
Go to the Small Business Administration - they have resources
THEY ALSO TOLD US - STAY AWAY FROM INVENT-TECH AND OTHER bogus companies that claim they can get your invention through the patent process and marketed.

My concept is/was Self Tinting Commercial Glass. It has recently hit the market early 2008 for residential and comercial construction use.
I have more concepts for Green Tech innovations, but I cant work with out financing.
