 I gave my idea to this company to build a construction laser that has 3 beams on it to provide workers with a level line and two plumb lines that go 360 degrees around the area. They insures me that my idea was original and sent me a portfolio that showed the patent searches along with preliminary sketches of the product. The next step they said was to pay them around $12,000 or so to proceed. I had no money to do this. Im not sure if they were responsible for getting this idea to store shelves, but I know I came up with this idea long ago. Around 2002 or 2003. I kick myself for not keeping the portfolio. It sat it my closet for years.
