The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Matthew Tagliavia during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases towards InventHelp.

Invention Submission Corporation, also know as, Inventhelp, is an invention company that looks to assist inventors that would like to submit their ideas confidentially to companies. Matthew Tagliavia stated the following about his company, "we offer patent referral services and marketing materials."

Leads for Invention Submission Corporation are obtained primarily through traditional advertising on television. Mr. Tagliavia additionally stated, "we advertise on Google, Bing, and Yahoo, as well as radio and any other way to reach inventors. Mr. Tagliavia additionally stated the following about the Invention Submission Corporation, "we have 65 sales offices all across the country in major metropolitan areas. We receive leads for those areas." The sales rep, also called regional directors, reaches out to the lead and had them come in for a confidential meeting, where they sign a statement of confidentiality, "which states we cannot do anything with their idea without their written permission." From that point the customer will tell Invention Submission Corporation their idea, "we do not evaluate ideas at all. We do not tell them if it is good or bad. We are merely providing services to them if they want to proceed."



CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION – INVENTHELP

During the onsite interview Mr. Tagliavia was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. He stated the following about the types of complaints that they see in addition to how they handle these complaints, "every single person that purchases our services receives a survey. And that is to ensure that all of our regional directors are following protocol, making sure that they are not talking about success, leading the inventor on, or evaluating the inventor. In the event that something could happen and they are not pleased wit the services, we do have a Client Services Department that handles that, and we truly to remedy the issue whether it is a discrepancy with materials."

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Mr. Coral stated the following, "I don't know if any of these [complaints] are clients. I had one client who said that they got hacked and posted a review and apologized for posting it." Mr. Tagliavia also stated that Invention Submission Corporation has been in business for 30 years and have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. He additionally stated the following, "we are a legitimate company that provides legitimate services to the honest inventor that really needs help. That is why we have George Foreman as our spokesperson, because that is what he believes in."

When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to make things right with the consumer per the request of Ripoff Report, Mr. Tagliavia stated, "we are constantly trying to better our services for the inventor. If we get complaints or anything in regards to our services we obviously try to make them better. We try to make better metal prototypes, we are updating materials using 3D renderings, we provide a virtual invention browsing experience for companies to look at ideas. We are constantly improving. We are trying to give our clients the people paying that money a good service for the money they are paying."

Inventhelp - Intromark - Invention Submission Seattle Washington

Inventhelp is a scam; they are in violation of the consent decree covered under the FTC violation from 1994 where they agreed to no longer rip people off through their sales/representative tactics. Their Seattle Rep. Jim Folger blatantly lied about the services, gave a verbal appraisal of our invention, talked us out of a patent. He completely misrepresented what this company does. Basic info package is still incomplete to this day, to the tune of $945.00, have paid over $8800.00 for invention submission services that they have no intention of seeing through. Checked out their Database of "elite companies" and contacted every one I could find(they only supply you with a co. name and state)several companies stated that they had never received my "presentation brochure"- one company owner told me that Inventhelp was a scam and that they were a bunch of "shysters". This coming from one of their supposed companies interested in new inventions from Inventhelp I have filed two FTC complaints since they have definitely violated the decision handed down upon them by the FTC in 1994. Contacted the company and their "manager" Angela Beauchamp is a pit bull intent on not refunding my money she continually argues and harrasses you every step of the way. Going on two months of arguing and she still wont return my money. This company is making 20 million a month off of people that hope to have their inventions taken seriously and sent to the right companies to get their products marketed.Most people have borrowed to the hilt to get their product marketed and this is what this company preys upon. When this company gets into hot water with the Feds, they change their name.They are no longer Invention Submission Corp; now they are Inventhelp. They are still a part of Intromark, the mother company and they use their own in-house finance company Universal Finance company, which is now called Universal Payment Corp; do you see a pattern here? All owned by Intromark! This company needs to be put out of business and the peoples' money returned. Would have found out they were a scam a lot sooner had they not changed their name to Inventhelp; they have offices all over the country running this same scam over and over. Every day another person gets ripped off, supposedy the Seattle office makes 2 million a month. Their Rep.in Seattle, Jim Folger is an assistant pastor of a church in kent, Wa. he uses his "people" skills to snow people out of millions. Daily. They have just moved their Federal Way , WA. office to another location in the last 4 months since things are going poorly for them here in WA. Several people besides myself have wised-up and are going after them! Including Inventhelps own EX-district manager, who has filed a law suit against them. Deborah Orting, Washington

I have 2 complaints filed with the FTC a complaint that should hit the US Patent Office website soon and the WA. State Attorney Generals Office is Investigating as well since early December 2006. I Have also contacted all the Credit Bureaus with complaints against the company to protect my credit file.
INVENTHELP has contacted me on several occasions and offered me my money back ONLY if I rescind ALL my complaints-especially the one to the US Patent Office AND sign a gag order which I have refused to do on at least 5 occasions-I also went to the local media and they did a report on Inventhelp/ISC which was aired in the fall 2006 across Wa. State-I have also hired an attorney.I/we are still working on this issue here in Wa. state!
