Invention Technologies Money for nothing! Coral Gables Florida

Invention Technologies convinced me that they could successfully market my idea. They also implied that I would be able to make a great deal of money from my idea. I initially gave them $1,000 to do research on patent information. The fruit of this money was binder filled with papers. However, there was enough information included in the binder that I felt the company may be worth a chance. I chose to have Invent-Tech represent my idea.

This choice came at an additional $5,000. What did I get for my money? I received packets of flyers that were either intended for media outlets or for manufacturers. These packets came extremely sparingly. I therefore, requested blank flyers that I may do my own research and send flyer to outlets that I had found. Additionally, I received an obviously premade video with the name of my invention cut into it. Frankly, the video was a joke.
At first the company would send me twenty flyers a month. As time went on they stopped sending me blank flyers altogether. To justify this action, they claimed that it was not part of the service contract, and it was too expensive. They further cited that they had found that people did not actually send the flyers out. I asked them to name their source and they claimed that their customers had told them this.

They claimed to represent my idea at tradeshows and even went as far as to send postcards from these shows. I had no reason to doubt that they were representing me at these shows, although I did not have much faith in their ability to do so. My sister attended a show in Las Vegas. I asked her to look at the Invent-tech booth and see how difficult it was to learn about my idea. She never found the Invent-tech booth at this show, yet, I received the postcard from them claiming they were there.

To make matters worse, they began to stop answering their phone. During business hours I was forced to consistently leave voice mails in the hope that they may return my call. To summarize, I would not recommend that anyone do business with these people. It is my feeling that they do not provide the service they claim. They seem to resist any and all attempts by the inventor to help market the product. Frankly, they chased off more than one prospect concerning my idea. One of which I contacted on my own. His take on the situation was that Invent Tech gave him the impression of being unprofessional.

In closing, if anyone is considering a class action suit against them, they can count me in. I would like to see them have to pay retributions. I would also like to see them be put out of business and perhaps even criminally prosecuted. This forum allowed for me to be contacted if anyone does in fact start this action. I am extremely busy and will not start it on my own; however I will back anyone who does to the best of my ability.
