We have had numerous problems with this company, the most recent concerning a broken A/C Unit in our residence. Our home has been over 90 degrees for the past 36 hours, and we made several requests for portable A/C units. The company did not process our request when they were notified by the repair company that it would take several days to get the part. One of our request was not processed at all. The service department has not returned phone calls as requested, as well as the property manager.

THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

We have also had our fence colapsing, which was not repaired correcly and is now colapsing again. We had to make several previous requests about debris being removed from the residence, and there were squatters that had broken into the home when we moved in. We had a major tick infestation in the backyard as well. Our fence was hit by a hit-and rum driver and we had to call several times to have it repaired correctly, and when it was "repaired" there were several pieces of concrete that were left behind on the sidewalk.

Our property manager does not respond timely to our concerns. The company response is inadequate and we are currently unable to stay in our residence due to the home temps exceeding reasonable temps.

Continued Problems

AUTHOR: Karla - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, December 27, 2018

Today we received a $75 bill for supposed repairs to our home durring the semi-annual inspection. The inspection person came out today and I told him of a small piece of plastic tracking that holds our shower doors to open and close had broken off. The inspector offered to glue it, instead of replacing it as it should be done, and simply glued the piece. We pointed out again the fence repair that was never completed and discussed the numerous other problems we have had with Invitation Homes in the Year and a Half we have lived there, including: no AC for 5 days in over 100 degree weather, tick infestations, a broken fence that was never repaired properly, squatters in the home when I moved in, repairs that were never completed properly, junk that was never removed in my home and yard properly, a giant hole in the wall behind our refrigerator, etc. The company continues to regularly add charges, including a $85 service fee for our existing pet fee we already pay.
