What really happened
------------------------

My name is Zack Katz, President of Katz Web Design, an small web design and development company in Denver, Colorado. My company is an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau, and has been a member of the West Chamber of Commerce since 2004.

The first I heard of this issue was August 1st, when I received a phone call at 12:30am where a man asked whether I was an Amazon.com affiliate. I replied that I am an Amazon affiliate, and he proceeded to swear and threaten me with lawsuits, saying that I added spam to his website and that he would file lawsuits against my company. When I asked him what he was talking about - specifically his website's address so I could investigate his claim- he continued to yell at me. He proceeded to threaten me and hung up. I never said I was connected to any of these companies; that is a lie.

Concerned, I called my web hosting company and they confirmed that no malicious code had been executed (I was concerned the server had been hacked), and I checked my own computer's logs to confirm no activity that would suggest having been a victim of a virus or hacking. There were no signs of hacking or malicious activity from my website or my computer.

Katz Web Design has nothing to do with iOnline, and is sorry that anyone has had bad dealings with a scam company. Please contact the iOnline people listed below, and not KWD.
