First I would like to warn you that there is nothing professional about this business. It is ran out of a home, where you are greeted at the door by large barking dogs and you can not go in.

To begin with this man tottally wrecked my iphone, i took it to him for a new screen to be installed and when I got it back he informed me my LCD screen was jacked up as he put it, I couldnt even see my screen, and when I confronted him, he got very angry. He would not give me my phone until I paid him $40 which is twice as much as priorly charged. On top of this he told me a hour to hour and a half and well after 6 hours i got a phone that i can no longer use. He also he spoke very abusively to me in texts, name calling and what not. Please beware of this company.

I have used this man before with similar results and I gave him a chance to redeem himself, and well this is the out come.

Steve does great work

I thought to comment, because I feel this review does not represent Steve at all. I have gon to Steve on maybe a total of 7 occasions. Besides talking about my repairs, I have not personal connections to him. I find it hard to believe he would I've charge, because he charged me $50 to change my broken iPhone screens while the places charged me anywhere from $80-130. On one occassion, I had a power button that didn't work; I took my phone to get the screen fixed, and he fixed the power button too, no charge. My dad has gone to him various times as well, neither of us have ever encountered a problem. The only thing I could say is, he's not the chattiest person, and yes, he won't let you go past the door, but I don't think I would either, it's his home. Steve does a GREAT JOB and when anyone ever asks me where they should go, I recommend they google Steve.

This is the Truth about this customer.

AUTHOR: iPodSlinger.com - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, September 17, 2011

This customer (Marla from Rosamond, Ca.) contacted me after she had tried to repair her iPhone 3G on her own. She was not successful with her repair and in fact brought me the iPhone in a pile of parts.

During the reassembly of her iPhone, I came across problem #1. The Digitizer, which consists of the main glass panel and the touch screen, was for an iPhone 3Gs. I contacted her and she gave me the go ahead to replace it with a New part, and she was old the price was $40.00. I also noticed problem #2, During her repair, she had damaged the LCD (the digital Screen) which was cracked in numerous places, and had a fair amount of pixel damage. My first action was to contact Marla again and explain to her that the LCD was damaged and that it would need replacement. I told her I did not have one in stock and that I would have to order it for her and replace it at a later date. She said that was fine and I continued with the repair/reassembly of her iPhone.

I finished the replacement of the digitizer and installed the old/damaged LCD back into her iPhone. She arrived to pick up her phone and even though she knew she had caused damage to her iPhone during her failed repair, she attempted to blame me for damaging her iPhone. She even went as far as intimidating her son to lie for her, which was obvious by his actions at the time. She got her iPhone back in working condition with an obviously pixelated LCD. I later inspected her 3Gs digitizer, which i told her she could have back and discovers it was new and damaged also from her failed repair. I kept it and have it in my possession as evidence of her misguided attempt at a DIY repair of her delicate iPhone.

I have been in business for the past 5 years and repaired 1,000's of iPhones and iPod for my customers.  I have hundreds and even thousands of satisfied customers. Marla wanted me to fix her mistake and even pay for it. Which I was not willing to do, so she told me she was going to make sure my business was damaged.

And as for my location, I have been a home based business for the 5 years I have been in business. with customers being referred to me by several big box cell & dept stores and yes i do have dogs, they are my pets, my security and my friends. My good customers know this and have no problem with me keeping a good secure location for their expensive devices.
