IPIU International Private Investigators Union ripoff Fraudulent Company Has Your Vital Information Not Located in Canada Ontario Nationwide

This report is to inform any potential applicants to beware of IPIU and do not provide them with your vital information as they are dishonest and are mileading their consumers.

I came across a website that informed me of the scam. IPIU entices potential applicants with the promise if a high paying career in the Private Investigation Field. Then their "free appplication" is accompanied by a $59.00 registration fee and upon registration a $25.00 FBI warrant check and the cost of fingerprintng also become an added expense.

This company is NOT BASED IN CANADA. The owner of the company is Jeremy Lancaster and their offices are located at 470 Electric Avenue, Bigfork MT 59911. He runs this company with his wife and the have 3 offices in the US with signs that read "Attorney Services" or Bureau for Business Ethics".

It is suggested that all of IPIU's "agent" report Mr. Lancaster to Montana's Attorney General's Office, Consumer Affairs Unit, P.O. box 200501 Helena, MT 59620. (There may be a possiblity of a class action suit) An actual PI found this information on these scam artists. Mr. Lancaster is directing his consumers to a Canadian address so that he will not be reported to the BBB in the United States.

Please be cautions as upon "registration" with this organization as they request VITAL information including your SS# DOB, and other information which may enable them to steal your identity. I never followed through with my registration with this organization due to this fear. And I am glad that I didn't.
