I researched on the internet the problem I was having with my iPod Nano with the battery running down very quickly as I wanted to give the iPod to my mother as I had upgraded. With good faith as it appeared to be a very secure and legit site, I followed the instructions in mailing my iPod to iPodDoctor Batteries in Scarborough and paying £36.97 & postage.
They guaranteed a 24-hour turn-around time but after 3 days nothing! I looked for a telephone number on their website - once again nothing! I emailed them 3 times - oh what a surprise - NOTHING! I checked with Royal Mail and sure enough the parcel had been signed for - oh what another surprise! That meant I couldn't claim from Royal Mail for a missing parcel. I googled the company but the only information came from their website. I couldn't believe that I had been the ONLY person to have been ripped off! Oh stupid was I??
I went on Google Map and there's the house - not a business office. I feel stupid going to the police to report a theft of a little item like an iPod worth about £100 so it was with relief I found a recent report on this website. Phew! I was not the only sucker.
It is also my intention now to follow the matter further by going to the British Consumer Council as well as the Police.

It was with great delight I received a phone call from the iPodDoctor regarding my iPod Nano updating me on problems surrounding the replacement of the battery. The Owner was true to his word and within a couple of days of that call my iPod Nano was delivered back to me.

This lady sent her iPod for a service which we do not provide (or list on the website). This caused a delay until suitable part had been sourced.
The iPod has been returned fully working though customer has not updated this posting.
