I'm just going to list the fact and details to make this short. On August 2013 my lease agreement between Iremco and myself started for a 2 year contract. At that time a lady by the name of Sue was the property manager. I ws told that the property would be getting various upgrades. The front, side, back, roof and tubs were all to be redone with in a few months of me moving in. She aplogized in advance for the traffic.
2months into my contract I contacted Iremco, regarding a broken fence. A a storm took place and a tree was uprooted and landed on the fence during the storm. I was told by Karen Iremcos in house manager that i would have to make those repairs at my own cost. Excuse me? I rent not own. I went on to ask about the crew that was to be showing up to make such repairs that sue promised and was told that they would be out soon to make those repairs. Need less to say, the only thing that was done was the roof.
My waterand sewer bill came shortly after that, It was extremly high so I called Karen again regarding the bill. I was told it was an error per I was billed for the previous tenats services and an adjustment would be made to correct it. (keep in mind water bill comes every 3mo) So I paid the bill in full for the water and sewer. (keep in mind water services effects sewer bill charges)
Some time in November I got another water bill which was super high like $180.00 the sewer was around $66.00. I have always paid my sewer bill it was roughly between $29.00 and $37.00 at my previous resident. I knew something was wrong, i manage my bills well and know what i use and what i dont. I called back to karen regarding the bill, she said take it up with water company. i clled the water company, they sent someone out. whom informed me it was a leak to contact maintance.
It took maintaince a little over 3months to get in a look at the problem. I made numerous calls ( I have emails to support). Nothing was done until i threaten to hold rent. I guy showed up said it was the toliet flaps and made corrections. water company came back said Nope problem not fixed. it took maintenace 3weeks or so to return and review problem. This time he stated the entire toliet needs to be removed. Tolits replaced with in a week, I recontacted the water company, the tech came out and said nope problem still here. Im like what the heck. This tech listen to me go on and on about the issue and said well lets turn the water off. Which the maintenace guy from Iremco should have done to see what the cause was. Upon turing the water off.....it was discovered that it was a Sewer Lateral LINE LEAK!! As a tenat, it was nothing i could do per water company. Paper work had to be filled out and issued by home owner or property manger prior to repairs. it took Iremco another week or two to have the paper work completed on top of another week to get someone out to fix it. I spoke with Karen on various ocassions regarding billing and adjustments. We both agreed that after all repairs are made and any credits i got back from water and sewer company she would then make other adjustments. That never happen!!!
In June 2015, I submitted notice that I would be vacating the premises @ 2175 White as court. I requested clean out instructions and details on return security deposit of $1,800 process. . I ordered a 20yd dumpster to make sure everything was tossed out that wasnt needed. I was told someone would come and do a walk through, she never showed up.. After notifying IREMCO, I received a collection letter stating that I owed $2414.07. I contacted the collection company and they mailed me a letter stating i was charged for Grass cutting, although I had just had the grass done, I was charged for removal of a sound room.( That was in the home when i leased it) The padding and 2 way glass was all apart of the basement when I moved in. The only thing i did to the home was painted the concret floor black and painded the walls. Upon leasing Sue said that was fine, however any upgraded we did to the home had to stay with the home upon vacating. I also discovered they took ,me to court for posession in sept of 2015. They already had notice i was leaving... the court did not issue any monies however in collections. Where did my $1,800 deposit go??? Carpet cleaning and wall painting dosent cost that much????? im super lost..... THey are crooks!!!!
Now i see why alot of homeowners pulled their contracts from IREMCO......They are slumlords
