Hector Ovalle owner of Mahi Water Systems Inc. THIEF! SCAMMER! A PIECE OF GARBAGE IS MORE VALUABLE THAN THIS PERSONS WORD Irvine California

Hector Ovalle who identified himself as the owner o MAHI WATER SYSTEMS INC. came to our home an a offered a home water softener system for $4999. He offered the system, and refills, service, and cleaning products for 6 years. We gave him a check for & $2000 and the rest we were going to pay after the system was installed. The system was delivered that same day but the person who was going to install the system was unable to do it that day because his work truck broke down. That night we did some research online and discovered all the warnings people have posted about this person and his two companies ( Maui & Mahi Water Systems Inc.) . The back of the contract states that you can terminate the transaction WITHOUT PENALTY if you mailed a signed copy within 3 business days, and that if any payment were made you will be REFUND WITHIN 10 BUSINNES DAYS. We send the copy first thing in the morning and payed for next day delevery. We called Hector to tell him we did not wanted the system because of his bad reputation. Hector told us it was going to take 4 to 6 weeks to get our money back. We told him that's not what the contract states and that it was a rediculous amount of time. He agree to return the money back in 10 days and send an additional cancelation form that have in red letters that the money was going to be refund in 10 days whe he send for the filters the next day. Five days later the official website was removed from the Internet, we got the letter we mailed back with a "return to sender undeliverable as addressed" note. We tried to contact Hector or anyone else for several days but nobody returned our calls. On the 12th day I went to our local PD to file a report for fraud. The police called Hector, and only then he called back but refused to pay the money back, with stupid excuses and contradicting himself so many times. With Bull s**t! about the filters being custom made, and that he loose money when people cancel their orders. 0n July 30th we learned from the main office in the building where he claims they have their office, that Mahi Water Systems Inc. does not have an office in that building. Hector Ovalle will not return our calls anymore.
