Island Boys Band Wille the Pan Man Band did not show up at our Wedding! Internet

Not only did he not show up, but he did not notify us that he would not be showing up and ignored any attempts at communication with us in the week leading up to the wedding. Furthermore he refused to reimburse us for the money we generously paid him in advance or even offer an apology.

He claims we did not provide directions when the address and location of our ceremony location was listed in his contract. Any competent person could have googled the location and found our ceremony or even located it on a map. Our wedding ceremony was on 17th St beach in Ocean city. Especially being from New York I would think that he would have no problem navigating the grid street pattern in Ocean City. All he had to due was drive to ocean city, drive north or south until 17th st and then turn east straight to the beach.

Afterwards, he claimed his guys drove five hours trying to find the place and never could find it. Even given the benefit of the doubt, all attempts to communicate with him via email and multiple phone lines were ignored in the 3-4 days up to the wedding and the day of. Any responsible performer would have notified us of the issue. Communication with him resumed afterwards only when we asked for a refund and threatened to pursue legal action. In this contact he made numerous comments about the integrity of my wife and justified his behavior by claiming we did not provide directions as specified in his contract.

This type of treatment in my mind is deplorable. We are pursuing all actions we can to make sure no one else is treated like this. We have records of all our coorespondence via email. If you would wish to help me or just share your story please email me (((email redacted))). Thank you,
