BIDDERS BEWARE--I just had a terrible buying experience with iSold It, a franchise that sells items on eBay on behalf of their customers. I had bought a lot of dolls, but two of the dolls I received were significantly not as described.

The auction description was an outright contradiction to the actual condition of the dolls, and the photos were taken in a way that specifically concealed the flaws. The flaws are so obvious that they could not have missed them when they wrote the description.

Their staff was consistently snippy and rude in their communications when I inquired about the possibility of a partial return, despite my patience and politeness. They would only accept a full return of all the dolls, with shipping at MY EXPENSE.

I hate leaving negative feedback, but their rudeness, deceptive auction description and unwillingness to adequately remedy the situation left me no choice. To top it off, they left a retaliatory negative feedback.

Looking at the several other negative feedbacks they have received I count myself lucky that the amount of money involved isn't that significant. Be wary of iSold It's auctions!

iSold It Store # TN0177 in Johnson City, Tennessee - Harasses Buyer Through eBay's Message System

AUTHOR: Metro - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, October 21, 2007

I have received the two messages below from the aforementioned iSold It store # 0177 in Johnson City, Tennessee. The person who sent me these messages have my home address and phone number, which makes me very uneasy.

On October 19, 2007, from isoldit.tn0177:

You are a SCAM! Well in won't work on us. You feedback didn't change our score. You are not very smart. If you didn't like what you got SEND IT BACK! People like you should be BANNED!

- I replied asking him/her to not harrass me through eBay's message system, and that I will forward the above message to eBay and iSoldIt headquarters.

On October 20, 2007, from isoldit.tn0177:

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO SCARED! YOU ARE A SCAM ARTIST LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FREE! NEVER NEVER EMAIL ME AGAIN YOU DIRTBAG!!

- Apparently, merely asking for a partial return of items the seller had misrepresented in the first place makes me a 'SCAM ARTIST LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FREE!'.
